SACRAMENT OF HOLY BAPTISM
The Sacrament of Holy Baptism is scheduled in consultation with the Pastor and Church Office typically celebrated during Sunday worship. If you wish to be baptized or accompany your child(ren) to the font we invite you to submit the form below. Please indicate whether you or your child will be baptized and please make sure to submit the Baptism specific information at the bottom of the form.
SACRAMENT OF THE ALTAR
The Sacrament of the Altar or Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month and on “High Feast Days” such as Christmas Eve/Day, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Easter Vigil/Day, Pentecost etc. ALL ARE WELCOME @ the table.
RITE OF MARRIAGE
The Rite of Marriage is celebrated as scheduled in consultation with the Pastor and Church Office. All couples must contact the church office and secure a date 6 months prior. The couple is also asked to meet with the pastor at least 3 times for pre-marital counseling and must be completed 1 month prior. If you wish to celebrate the Rite of Marriage with us at Our Savior’s we invite you to submit the form below. In doing so it is helpful to fill out the Rite of Marriage specific form. This is done so that pre-marital counseling can begin with an assessment and thus planning for your wedding after that. Upon the submission of your form you will also receive 6 months prior to your wedding date an information packet detailing next steps & expectations.
RITE OF AFFIRMATION OF BAPTISM & CONFIRMATION
The Rite of Affirmation of Baptism & Confirmation are celebrated after either 1) contacting the Pastor and Church office or 2) successful completion of Confirmation Curriculum. If you would like to affirm your faith through the Rite of Affirmation of Baptism or would like to enroll in either and Adult or Youth Confirmation Class we invite you to fill out the form below.
RITE OF INDIVIDUAL CONFESSION & FORGIVENESS
Though not often practiced in Lutheran congregations this practice is invaluable. However, it is not required to participate in Holy Communion, be baptized or have your wedding with us. Rather, this is yet another useful spiritual practice available to all. With that said its not like the movies! If you would like more information please submit the form below. USE OF SPACE
At other times the gift of space may be utilized at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church for events such as Milestone Birthdays (80, 90, 100), Scout Meetings, FFA to retreats. To make a formal request we invite you submit the form below.
